Cocaine is fascinating to read about. I know I didn't have an addiction, because I never sought it out or paid for it myself. I only did it if it was around, and then I did lots of it.

It can cause paranoia, but it normally just causes euphoria. It can make you feel on top of the world, and it's short lived, which is why people have to take more and more to get that feeling.
